Commitment to global missions is a major part of the RBC ministry. We partner with several mission outreach ministries — local, regional and international — to bring the Good News of Jesus to our neighbors, our nation and our world.
RBC sponsors and prays for four children around the world: two 11-year-old girls, a 7-year-old boy, and a 9-year-old boy. Our RBC Kids Church and RBC Youth Ministries are especially involved in this mission outreach, through letters, cards and drawings.
Jonathan and Erin Mathews serve in church planting in the São Paulo region of southern Brazil, and as founders of the Southern Cone Initiative. SCI's goal is developing church leaders and missionaries to reach the yet-unreached people groups with the Gospel in the "Southern Cone" of South America: Argentina, Brazil, Uruguay.
Our six supported national Thai missionaries use a 'Win, Share, Build' model:
WIN – Sharing the Gospel one-on-one and in groups of all sizes,
BUILD – Bringing growth and maturity in Christ,
SEND – Sending believers out to share the Good News of Christ around Thailand and the World.
Bridgeport Rescue Mission fights poverty from the inside out, embracing the urban poor and addicted with the compassion of Christ. They provide food, shelter, clothing, education, job training, and counseling.
Hopeline has been helping women for more than 30 years. They provide free, confidential pro-life pregnancy services, child care instruction, and post-abortion counseling.
RBC partners with a local family who ministers among international students in Fairfield County, providing a loving community of discipleship and hospitality.
The mission of Pivot Ministries is to treat drug and alcohol addiction as a spiritual problem and return the men to their families whole.
RBC supports Young Life in its ministry where every young person is seen, valued, and invited to the purpose God has for them.
In YoungLives Danbury, teen parents are welcomed into communities that see them as whole, worthy of love, leadership, and belonging.
Mottel is the director of the Messengers Messianic Jewish Outreach of New Jersey, aiming to lead people to saving faith in Messiah Jesus and equip believers for Jewish outreach.
Young Life Capernaum, an arm of Young Life International*, introduces Christ to young people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and helps them grow in their faith. It gives them the opportunity to experience fun and adventure, to develop fulfilling friendships, and to challenge their limits while building self-esteem through club, camp and other exciting activities.
*Young Life International introduces adolescents to Jesus Christ and helps them grow in their faith by walking with them in friendship, providing fun, adventurous and life-changing experiences, and preparing them for a life-long relationship with Jesus Christ, his Word, his mission and his Church.
